Basic Know How

I would say you definitely need some basic know how. Like know how to tighten a screw or how to hammer a nail into wood. I would definitely be smart to do some research on how to do something if you are unsure how to do it. Sure you could just call someone to do it for you. But were's the fun in that? It is quite gratifying knowing you can handle a situation on your own.

Like lets say the
metal ring around you perfectly good hose popped off. Yes, you could probably just go and buy a new one. However, why wouldn't you just try to put this one back together? After all its simply a matter of finding the little circle cylinder that is suppose to fit with in the hose who basically holds it in place. Put the hose through the metal ring then insert the little circle cylinder and pull the hose or wrap it around something and pull as hard as you can. That's all you need to do to repair that problem. Its a relatively quick fit as opposed to getting in the car to head out to the store, waiting in line to pay, and then riding back home to later install the new hose. Not to mention hoses are kinda expensive. What basic know how skills do you have?
