Sometimes illness strikes our little animals and no matter what we do to help them its just not enough. You can research on-line, posts on social media groups, or take your little animals to the vet. A lot of the times they just need a little bit of time to recuperate after treatment. With an extra large dose of love and TLC. But there will always be those instances when loss comes around. It does not get easier you will always feel guilted and always feel the sad loss. If you are lucky enough your little creature might even be reborn. Its normal to feel that way when you have a little farm or homestead because they sure don't come without some loss. That is when you need to take what you learned and hopefully try to apply it the next time around and pray for a better outcome.
