We where lucky to not have buy our little farm / homestead. My elderly mother in-law has a large property a little over an acre that sits on a nice corner lot. This was her inheritance from her parents who had passed. Once she reached retirement age she decided she wanted to move back home and build herself a little retirement oasis. She not only built a lovely home but more importantly she farmed the land. Now forward about 8 years later. The property is filled with lots of wonder flowers, medicinal plants, veggies, and fruit trees. She even has a large chicken coop outback. So that was also resolved and that is what we have.
